Jenny Winters, M.Ed., CCFT

I’m Jenny Winters, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach in Santa Cruz, California, dedicated to elevating standards in fitness, performance, and movement quality. With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Social Emotional Learning, and a CrossFit L3 certification, I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical expertise to the coaching world.

Over the years, I’ve honed my craft with over a dozen specialty certifications, ensuring I stay at the forefront of evidence-based training methods. My passion lies in helping individuals and athletes move better, get stronger, and achieve their highest potential. As a movement specialist, I take pride in identifying inefficiencies, correcting patterns, and fostering long-term success in both performance and health.

My experience extends beyond the gym floor—I am an educator at heart. I believe that empowering clients and coaches with knowledge is as important as the training itself. My background in Social Emotional Learning shapes my coaching philosophy, emphasizing the connection between mental and physical resilience for optimal performance and well-being.

Before pursuing my path in fitness, I earned an Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology, driven by my fascination with mechanics and how things work. This early passion for understanding systems and problem-solving has translated seamlessly into my work as a coach, where I approach human movement with the same precision and curiosity.

Whether I’m working with youth athletes, competitive adults, or those simply striving for a healthier lifestyle, my approach is rooted in high standards, precision, and adaptability. I’m committed to raising the bar in the fitness space by creating sustainable, results-driven programs that focus on functional strength, injury prevention, and lifelong wellness.
